Regarding the strengthening of Conaprevi, GA No. 257-2023 was approved, through which GA No. 831-2000, Regulations of the Law to Prevent, Sanction, and Eradicate Domestic Violence, is reformed. It establishes Mingob as the coordinator of the mechanism, and defining that the member institutions must include in their budgets allocations for the implementation of Planovi 2020-2029. Conaprevi is chaired by the President of the Republic, holding ordinary and extraordinary assemblies. The Strategic Plan 2018-2022 is implemented, which establishes actions in the areas of prevention, care, sanction, and reparation of VAW coordinated in the 6 Working Commissions.

En cuanto al fortalecimiento de la Conaprevi, se aprobó el AG No. 257-2023, por medio del cual se reforma el AG No. 831-2000, Reglamento de la Ley para Prevenir, Sancionar y Erradicar la Violencia Intrafamiliar, ampliando la integración del mecanismo, estableciendo al Mingob como coordinadora y definiendo que las instituciones integrantes deberán incluir en sus presupuestos asignaciones para la implementación del Planovi 2020-2029. La Conaprevi, es presidida por el Presidente de la República, desarrollando asambleas ordinarias y extraordinarias. Se implementa el Plan Estratégico 2018-2022, que establece las acciones en materia de prevención, atención, sanción y reparación de la VCM coordinadas en las 6 Comisiones de Trabajo.
